Coop or Kaboom Privacy Policy

Effective Date: September 14, 2026

🐔 The short version: Coop or Kaboom has no accounts and no sign-in, and we never collect your name, email, or location. Your progress stays on your device. The game does show ads, and our ad provider (Google AdMob) receives some device information in order to serve them — that is the one place data leaves your phone. It never receives your advertising identifier, because the game never asks for it, and the ads are never personalised for anyone.

1. Introduction

Coop or Kaboom ("the game") is a mobile game developed by Damon Padron and published by Chunkster Bunkster ("we," "us," or "our"). This policy explains what happens to information when you play, and it applies only to the Coop or Kaboom mobile app. Our website and our other products are covered by the Chunkster Bunkster Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not operate any servers for this game and we do not have any database of players. Specifically, we never collect:

We could not identify an individual player if we wanted to, and we do not sell personal information to anyone.

3. What Stays on Your Device

Your progress is written to local storage on your device and is never sent to us. That includes your best score, eggs and golden eggs, the birds and blast effects you own and have equipped, your sound and music settings, and how many ads you have watched today.

This data is included in your device's own backups (iCloud or a local backup, both managed by Apple) if you have backups enabled. Deleting the app deletes this data. There is no way for us to restore it, because we never had a copy.

4. Advertising

Coop or Kaboom is free, and advertising is how it is paid for. Ads are supplied by Google AdMob. Every ad in the game is a rewarded ad: it plays only when you choose to start it by tapping a watch button, and it always pays out in-game eggs. The game never interrupts play with an ad you did not ask for.

To serve and measure those ads, Google receives information from your device. Google acts as an independent controller of that information, and it is governed by Google's own policies rather than ours. The game does not request your device's advertising identifier (the IDFA on iOS), so Google does not receive it. What Google does receive can include:

You can read how Google uses this data at business.safety.google/privacy and at Google's AdMob partner policies.

5. Your Choices and Controls

Control What it does
Nothing to turn off The game never asks to track you, and iOS will not show you its App Tracking Transparency prompt, because the game does not request your advertising identifier at all. There is no tracking permission to grant or withhold.
Not watching Every ad is one you start yourself by tapping a watch button. Never tapping one means never seeing an ad.
Limit Ad Tracking iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Apple Advertising lets you reset or limit your advertising identifier at the system level. This game does not read it either way.
Deleting the app Removes all locally stored progress and settings from your device.

Ads are never personalised for anyone, so there is no setting that changes what you earn. Every rewarded ad pays the same number of eggs.

6. Children's Privacy

Coop or Kaboom is a cartoon game that appeals to a broad audience, including children, and it is treated as a children's app for every player without exception. It does not ask your age, because the answer would change nothing: the protections below apply to everyone who installs it.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us using section 10 and we will address it promptly.

7. European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland

Because every player is treated as being under the age of consent, the game never asks you to agree to personalised advertising — that choice is not offered, and personalised ads are not served to anyone. Google's consent tooling still runs before ads load, so if a notice is required in your country you will see it.

Where the General Data Protection Regulation applies, the lawful basis for showing non-personalised advertising and for keeping the game working is our legitimate interest in funding and operating it. You have the right to access, correct, delete, and port your data, and to object to processing. Because we hold no personal data about you ourselves, requests concerning ad data should be directed to Google, whose contact details are in the policies linked in section 4.

8. United States State Privacy Rights

Residents of California and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have rights to know about, delete, and opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising: the game does not request your advertising identifier, and the ads it shows are never personalised.

9. Data Security and Retention

Because your game data never leaves your device, its security rests on your device's own protections, such as your passcode and Apple's storage encryption. We retain no player data ourselves, so there is nothing on our side to breach, retain, or delete. Data handled by Google is retained according to Google's own retention practices.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the game changes. If we do, we will update the "Effective Date" above. If we ever begin collecting personal information directly, or change how advertising works in a way that affects you, we will say so clearly in the game and ask for consent where the law requires it.
